I'm leaning towards the Hello Fresh chicken salad... and cocktails, and then practicing our karaoke for xmas eve.

LOL, the karaoke practice sounds fun!

I've had chicken for dinner 5 nights in a row (after I roasted a chicken last Friday night). All the dinners tasted great, but I think I'm going to have deep-dish pizza tonight from Domino's . I don't much like their "regular" pizzas but I DO like their deep-dish pizzas (I always get extra sauce) and their stuffed cheesy bread with spinach and feta. Alas, they don't start delivering until 5 p.m. and I am hungry NOW ...

Marinated veg salad is a new addiction! The hardy cold weather vegetables stand up well to it and don’t go soggy. I’ve been eating this one for 3 days and it’s still crunchy and now very well seasoned. I like it better with the red cabbage than the tomatoes.

We figure if all we eat are vegetables and cookies, they will cancel each other out.

Today I stopped by the wonderful El Rancho Supermercado and purchased a ridiculous amount of different dried chiles for a Christmas care package for my brother in Portland. I also got their fresh green jalapeño hot sauce and 6 tamales, and fresh tostada shells.

Tonight we will have refried bean tostadas with offerings of sliced radish, romaine lettuce, grated cheese, the super spicy green sauce, sour cream, and green onion. And tamales and fresh churros! (There are only 5 tamales now).
