I didn't feel like cooking and needed to get out so I drove 22 miles for a garlic butter bacon burger, onion rings and a strawberry slush at our closest Sonic.
Did a little snow hiking in the Lake Tahoe area, and picked up sandwiches, which we will eat the other half of tonight for dinner. DH has a tri tip on sourdough, and I had a quinoa veggie wrap. I will have mulled wine.

Made vegetarian split pea soup (with split peas, carrots, onion, vegetable broth, spices like garlic, onion powder, lemon juice and salt and pepper). Served with matzah crackers.
last night went to a Spanish/Basque restaurant patatas bravas, strip steak with black garlic butter, roasted cauliflower with pistachio something, pan-fried striped bass with microgreens, iberico garnish and an olive oil garlic lemon dressing and spinach with garlic & herbs. Sangria to drink. No dessert b/c we were stuffed.
Tonight is refrigerator roulette.
