Well Mr. Almrausch managed to blow the fuse in our stove somehow while replacing the oven heating element and our dinner never happened.Instead cold sandwiches and a cup of herbal tea by the fireplace.Lets see what tomorrow brings....

Tonight we are having gumbo, more of that white rice that's required for every Cajun dish and another salad.
Open face souper burgers made with 96% lean ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, onion and celery added to the beef while browning. Served over whole wheat toast. Something green from the freezer for a side.
Smoked portabella Linguini with sundried tomatoes, roasted butternut squash, red lentils and seasoned pumpkin seeds with a generous topping of shaved parmesan cheese.
Orchard Salad mixed greens, chopped gala apples, pumpkin seeds, grapes, candied pecans and blood orange ginger dressing.
