Irish bangers from Trader Joes ( I always stock up on them, in March, the only time they sell them) with potatoes. I have a bunch of tomatoes to pick from my garden, so it will either be a tomato salad or fried with garlic.

Another day at 99 degrees. Pan fry some burgers, all the usual suspects, keto bread or open face, avocado if ripe, pepperoncinis, and probably cheese for DH.

Side of raw cauliflower and homemade ranch (from mix). Split a corn on cob.

[quote=karen_in_nh_2012;61332696]Magic, I have never grilled lamb, only roasted it (and it's great that way of course, but grilling sounds wonderful too!). How did it turn out?

And I would NEVER think to put grilled tomatoes in rice, but when you mentioned it, I thought, Hmmm, that sounds really delicious. So I will have to try that too.

First Congrats on your semi retirement!

Next grilling lamb is super easy. We grill it different ways. This was our first time doing the butterflied leg. Now to be honest I bought it already marinated at Aldi. I was worried but for $20, darn cheap for that cut of lamb, I figured it was worth a shot. It was pretty tasty!
You know me well as of course I took a picture!

Great picture, Magic! That lamb looks gorgeous (and butterflying it makes a lot of sense for the grill). How long did it take to grill?

You've got me hungry for lamb! I know I have a leg in the freezer but it will take a couple of days to defrost ...

I have a leg of lamb in the freezer too! Also, some chops.

Tonight is homemade pizza, with pepperoni and tons of veggies.

I wish I had lamb in the freezer! It's been pretty expensive the last few times we've been to Costco and other stores that sell it. I do like grilled lamb. But tonight, I have a rib eye in the sous vie and will finish on the grill. I have a large Yukon gold potato that will go in the oven and will sauté some zucchini with mushroom, bell pepper and onion. I might also slice up the last of the farmers market tomatoes that my neighbor brought me.

Baked butter herb lake perch, curried sweet potato salad, cabbage cucumber, tomato and red onion salad with lemon Dijon dressing.

Strawberry Shortcake - sort of home made.
