I love shawarma pita sandwiches, but it’s not something I cook - there are loads of Mediterranean take out places around here that do it better than I would. It’s similar to a gyro, with meat cooked on a big spit. Most places offer chicken or lamb.

I like my shawarma with a white sauce such as tzatziki, onion, lettuce, tomato. Some places include tahini or hummus.

Our dinner was leftover vegetable green curry.

Alas, no Mediterranean take-out places (or even eat-in places!) here in the boonies of southwestern New Hampshire, so I must cook my own Mediterranean food. Al'Fez has been very helpful in that regard, LOL!

I bought pita bread (at some point I will try making my own) so will PROBABLY have tonight's lamb shawarma in a slice of that as a sandwich, BUT I may have it curry-style with the pita bread on the side. I really do want to try all my veggies with it, cooked on the stovetop like a curry. Maybe it will be a disaster and I will have to re-think it next time ...

That sounds really good too! Curry seems to hold up great for leftovers (and from frozen).

Some sort of Korean Buddha bowl: brown rice, imitation beef, kim chee, pickled daikon/carrots, cabbage, spinach, green onions, with a bbq go-chu-jang sauce
