Leaving early morning for a cycling tour..........
We had German potato salad,Sauerkraut and baked chicken legs seasoned with onion,garlic powder and red paprika.To drink Löwenbräu.For dessert apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and a cup of black coffee.
Ugh. Too hot, don't care. We will graze the fridge, various fruits/melons, some nice cheeses, tuna salad, home made sour dough.
Plus, I have developed a love of sugar free jello, cranberries, apples, walnuts and mandarin oranges. My friends and family are appalled.
I'm going to bring some for camping and corrupt the children.

Grilling a butterflied leg of lamb tonight. We are also grilling tomatoes with some olive oil, parmesan and fresh basil and serving it with butter and garlic rice. I LOVE mixing the grilled tomatoes into the rice. Roasted asparagus to round out (and my kids are not fond of grilled tomatoes) the meal.
Magic, I have never grilled lamb, only roasted it (and it's great that way of course, but grilling sounds wonderful too!). How did it turn out?
And I would NEVER think to put grilled tomatoes in rice, but when you mentioned it, I thought, Hmmm, that sounds really delicious. So I will have to try that too.
