Thank you! Just a disclaimer, I like New Mexico Hatch too, just easy for me to get the local Pueblo Chile's fresh. I wish one day Pueblo would market as well as Hatch. Both good chiles.
If you share recipes love to hear it! I have a good Chile Colorado that I use wild goose meat. Can be substituted with beef.
Also what my wife calls 'weekday chili' which is tomato based with ground venison- spicy and flavorful but not like Chile Colorado. We have to something with all our canned garden tomatoes
Rabbit food for the most part but did cut up a piece of chicken to add. Stewart's orange soda. The taste seems a bit different than what I remembered but it could be me.
Finished off the last slice of lemon cake and a scoop of TH pistachio ice cream.
Looks good! I'm from NM but I am not a chile snob. I love Hatch, but there were times when I couldn't get it so I made do with other. Just as a side note, Bueno sells frozen green and red that is made with Hatch. Both are good when you don't have anything else.
Thx for wishes, and you are right on. Hatch is a big deal. I can buy them in the frozen vegetable section of our grocery stores here. It's good stuff.
Pueblo and Hatch should go further and see to it that Publix in Florida and places in-between can get the chiles.
Marketing is key here. The Chile is so good for you too. You can dial up whatever heat you need, doesn't have to be too hot.
Pork adobo from the freezer, sauteed yellow squash, lemon cukes and tomatoes.
And another zucchini bread.
