Ordering in Lebanese food. A nice, fresh fattoush salad and a rice dish with shredded chicken and a little bit of ground lamb. The rice is spiced with warm spices - including a hint of cinnamon. It is, as my mom would have said, luscious.

DH requested Italian sausage with a hearty marinara over spaghetti noodles. Salad and garlic bread too.

Unleashing a red, then a green chile for a cook-off tomorrow, first the red;

Our Pueblo Colorado Mira Sols

Wish me luck. If my red or green or both wins tomorrow, then it's onto city wide cook-off on October 3rd.

Now the green;

Here's the green

Here's what I'm gonna add to adjust heat...

Thank you! Just a disclaimer, I like New Mexico Hatch too, just easy for me to get the local Pueblo Chile's fresh. I wish one day Pueblo would market as well as Hatch. Both good chiles.

Looks good! I'm from NM but I am not a chile snob. I love Hatch, but there were times when I couldn't get it so I made do with other. Just as a side note, Bueno sells frozen green and red that is made with Hatch. Both are good when you don't have anything else.
