Tonight dhaba daal served with chapatis,chile/Persian cucumber raita,onion and tomato slices.To drink lassi or lemon water.For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit

split chickpeas
finely chopped onions,ginger, garlic, tomatoes,green chile
oil of your choice
Shan spices.......(red chile,turmeric,aniseed,coriander,cumin, cinnamon, green cardamoms,,carom seeds,black pepper, fenugreek seeds, bay leaf,clove)

If hubby’s tummy is up to it, and I get to the store, tacos. I’m embarrassed to say, but we tried the kit that has the double shells (hard taco, with soft one glued to it with cheese sauce) and they were good.

Lots of slowly roasted onions, red bell peppers, Sriracha Peppers, garlic and short pasta with smoked ham. May get some bread going. A grey, wet and unpleasant day out there.

Not sure because my husband has only been able to eat soft foods because of a back tooth issue. last night I made pancakes. Going to dentist tonight so hopefully he will be able to chew food again. Most likely he will want to get soup.
