Five more days til the gang is arriving with kids,dogs,big appetites and the house will be filled with excitement,laughter,music.The tradition has become full circle....
At the moment I am baking two more Baumkuchen with rum white icing.
Tonight chana/masoor daal,green chile raita,onion and tomato slices and chapatis.To drink lassi or lemon water.For dessert 1/2 a red grapefruit.

The countdown begins. We get our first person on Weds., 3 more people, and 4 dogs on Sat, 4 more people and 2 dogs Sun. Only the first two groups are staying for the week, so this year will be easier to manage.
Tonight is chicken won ton soup with veggies, and pan seared tofu with sizzling aromatics.
