Geezus..you were arguing about deaths among the elderly now you want to change it to include all deaths because you found some figures you like better..I give up this is getting too bizarre for me.

That's nice but it's a lot different from what you initially claimed:

There were alternatives for sure. The feds set up centers across the country in hotspot cities in order to deal with people like those The Governor forced into nursing homes.

No. My initial posts about Sweden were not about the elderly. We went down that path since you and others pointed out that that the treatment of elderly in Sweden's nursing homes was a failure and meant to imply that the Sweden's response overall is a failure because of that. Please present your numbers for the elderly deaths in NY, NYC and Sweden, since you mentioned that "Sweden had a significantly higher per capita death rate." I am curious to see what numbers lead to that conclusion.

You had provided the following 2 graphs. You realize that one is absolute numbers for Sweden and the second one is Death rate per 100,000 for NYC?

I bet, he/she got that information from a media article, and none of those reporters have calculated the following numbers before reporting. They took the one story about the response in the nursing homes as negative and brushed their complete response as a failure. Here are the numbers:
NY State:
Population: 19.45 million
Confirmed: 417,000
Deaths: 32,322
Mortality: 7.75%
Deaths per 100,000: 166

NYC:
Population: 8.3 million
Confirmed: 229,000
Deaths: 22,970
Mortality: 10.03%
Deaths per 100,000: 276

Sweden
Population: 10.3 million
Confirmed: 79,494
Deaths: 5,700
Mortality: 7.17%
Deaths per 100,000: 55.33

There could be an argument that Sweden cannot be compared to NYC and NY state. On the same token, we should also consider an argument where they say that they cannot be compared to other Nordic countries, because their immigration numbers in cities like Stockholm are much higher than cities in the other Nordic countries.
I see that population density is not a factor in your careful data analysis. The population density of Sweden is 25/km. The population density of NYC is 28,242/km.

Fair enough. I think I mentioned it in my post - "There could be an argument that Sweden cannot be compared to NYC and NY state."

How about this comparison? Note NYC had lockdown for 2.5 months, Stockholm had no stringent lockdowns:
Stockholm
Area: 188 Km2
Population: 1 Million
Confirmed: 23,101
Deaths: 2384
Mortality: 10.3%
Deaths per 100,000: 238

NYC:
Area: 783 Km2
Population: 8.3 million
Confirmed: 229,000
Deaths: 22,970
Mortality: 10.03%
Deaths per 100,000: 276

How did Sweden do compared to all 50 states? The deaths per capita is worse than the majority of US states. Sweden(564 deaths per million) look much worse than Texas at (203 deaths per million),Don't single out one city to push an agenda.

There was glitch in coronavirus reporting for Dallas County. Number of cases were below normal, due to one lab not reporting for 5 days. All the cases were logged on one day, which showed an unusual spike.
