I'm a little tired of hearing about these people in Shelton complaining about the dam operators in Monroe/Oxford. They have been flooded out four times so far this year, each time making a scene on the local news about how they weren't warned.

The dam was there first. Move.

Like I said, I would find 40s (especially if we're mentioning Bridgeport and not Central Park) wholeheartedly believable, it was those 30s in Central Park that made me scratch my head.....

Interesting side note, historically September and October are months that in this region are not that much warmer than they were even 100+ years ago. If you look at the list of the 10 warmest Septembers and Octobers on something like the OKX website, you'll see they are not as "top heavy" with post 1980 years as the other months are.

Quick Stat. Is your a/c running more at night this year like mine?

Using the Days of September 1 - 9 for Sikorsky Airport. The average for all the highs for those days and the average for all the lows for those days looks like this.

2010 has the warmest highs. 2006 has the coolest lows. Our lows this year are warmer then last years for the time frame so far and 2nd warmest using 6 years of data..

September 1st - 9th:
Year: Avg.High: Avg.Low:
2011: 78.7 ..........65.7
2010: 82.5.......... 64.7
2009: 75.1 ..........58.5
2008: 81.4 ..........66.2
2007: 79.6 ..........64.2
2006: 74.4 ..........60.0

Frost is possible North of the coast - North of I90

Last day of it will be today and tomorrow. Say goodbye to the 80s.

Here's Saturday morning. Friday morning is similar.

What Im worried about is the way its dipping down so early. Does that mean another massive Tornado outbreak? This time in the SouthEast/MidAtlantic because the cold air is clashing with the heat still trying to linger?
