Could you translate this summary into english please?

Where IS 21.9n 59.2w, compared to, oh, let's say - the USA. And maybe a little narrower scope - compared to - for instance - the east coast. Or even more narrow - the New England coast, including Long Island.

Where are the northern leeward islands? What is the significance (if any) of the minimum central pressure?

What is AST? It's taken me five years just to understand GMT.

Open Atlantic: 360 miles NE of Leeward Islands.
East of Puerto Rico
Pressure idicates strength of system.(any storm all year). The Lower the pressure, the deeper (stronger) the storm is. If pressure is lower on the update that means its strengthening even further. Katrina's lowest was 918mb .
AST is Atlantic Standard time.

It also has Lee turning "west" eventually going from a NE moving storm (like it is now) to a N moving storm. Nothing for TX but could mean that it becomes more of a rain/flood issue for the Midwest than us.

Latest Euro has it East of last run.

I'm gonna repeat it...Earl Earl Earl.

Going with my gut still... before I even looked at technicals I said this would be a recurve miss.

We might get a breeze from Katia and high clouds but not a direct hit.

Everyone is talking about flooding rain totals coming. Why do people feel the nee to hpe every little event? Do they not know the ground can take 3" of rain easily? or even 6" spread over time?
