Time Frame of March 30 - April 2 looks interesting as well.. Details will emerge as we get closer... For now just call it "chance".

Now I'm actually considering pulling up my strawberries since it looks like freezing temps at night for next 7-12 days.

Check your areas folks... This is from National Weather Service..Not accuweather.
For Fairfield & Westchester County. CWA means County Warning Area meaning Fairfield & Westchester. They are calling for half foot north of Merrit. They "could" be issuing warning level snowfall.

They do acknowledge one model is quicker & warmer with the storm and amounts will be less so we'll have to keep checking.

SFC LOW QUICKLY MOVES FROM THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY TO JUST OFF THE MID
ATLANTIC COAST FROM WED MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

IT IS AT THIS TIME THAT WE SHOULD OBSERVE WINTRY PRECIP...WITH
BORDERLINE TEMPS ALOFT AND AT THE SFC. AMPLE LIFT...AND CHILLY AIR
IN PLACE WILL MAKE FOR AN INTERESTING YET CHALLENGING FORECAST.

IN SPITE OF THE LATE MARCH DATE...LATEST RUN OF THE NAM/WRF WOULD
SUPPORT SNOW ACROSS MUCH IF NOT ALL OF THE CWA. HIGHEST CONFIDENCE
IN ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL WOULD BE ACROSS THE INTERIOR...MAINLY SRN
CT AND THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY. AT THIS TIME...I CANNOT RULE OUT
WARNING LEVEL SNOWFALL FOR AT LEAST SOME PORTION OF THE CWA AS THE
LOW PASSES SOUTH. ADVISORY SNOWS FURTHER SOUTH...BUT MUCH LESS
LIKELY NEAR THE COAST. GFS WEAKER...WARMER AND QUICKER WITH
OVERALL SYSTEM...KEEPING AMOUNTS DOWN.

WARMER SFC TEMPS ON TUESDAY AND INTO TUESDAY NIGHT MAY PREVENT
SNOW FROM STICKING AT THE ONSET...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COAST.

TEMPS RISE LITTLE IN CLOUDS AND PRECIP WEDNESDAY...WITH READINGS
LIKELY TO HOLD IN THE 30S.

BY WED NIGHT AND THURSDAY...TEMPS ALOFT COOL FURTHER...SO ANY
LINGERING PRECIP WOULD BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW AT THAT TIME.

WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE THURSDAY...COULD SEE UP TO 6 INCHES OF
SNOW ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE INTERIOR. 1 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE AS
YOU HEAD CLOSER TO THE COAST...WITH LITTLE OR NO SNOW ACCUM NEAR
THE COAST...NYC METRO.

ANY PRECIP TAPERS OFF THURSDAY AFTERNOON AS THE SFC LOW SCOOTS
WELL OFFSHORE...WITH WRAP AROUND MOISTURE AND PRECIP MOVING ACROSS
SE MASS BY THAT TIME.

Don't worry, we in Connecticut should still be too warm for anything more than some wet flakes up in the northern half of the state. Right now just rain on the coast here east of New Haven.
It was definitely snowing WEST of New Haven this morning, along the coast all the way to New Rochelle, with even minor accumulations on cars and grass. Saw it from the windows of Metro North on the way in to NYC.

NWS is even predicting 1-3" in NYC now! And 3-6" just a little bit north (most of Westchester and Fairfield).

Looks like we got another shot of snow this weekend (Sunday), small event (couple inches)

Another snow event on Tuesday or Wednesday (couple inches)

And another bigger event around April 2nd < this could be the pattern break... Weather it be a foot of snow OR flooding rain, it will signal Spring is coming afterwards..

Things can change on all three so lets keep track as usual.

Canadien High pressure will stay put for another 10 days but you'll be at the beach soon enough, dont worry.

Man, that 30th storm is scary looking. Coastal Bomb just East of us. One model says Major East Coast SnowStorm, the other model has it OTS (out to sea)... I'm honestly not ready for a foot of snow...but we have no control if it does happen.
