State officials say that snow is falling at 4 inches an hour in New Haven and Bridgeport. Crazy!

It's insane.. The snowflake texture has changed, they are slightly bigger now. Visibility dropped big time. Well under 1/4 mile now.

Video from my roof... Frequent 35+ mph wind gusts. Temp 20°.

Current Radar. It's those 35+dbz purple bands that we never know where will set up or park itself.

Intense snow rates under there. Let me grab a loop

6:50-10:50am loop. Watch those bands rotating in! Atlantic City got hit multiple times.

I been melting the snow falling in gauge every hour.

3-7am: 0.06" liquid
7-9am: 0.16" liquid (2.5" storm total)
9-10am: 0.16" liquid (3.5" storm total)
10-11am: 0.05" liquid (5.1" storm total)

0.43" qpf total so far.

Less liquid but 1.6" new snow past hour. Much higher ratios when the snow rates got intense. Still coming down hard.

Update from NW of Boston--looks like ice pellets are mixing in, based on the sounds I'm hearing against the windows & roof. Insane considering the surface temps are 24 F!

Plow came again. Looks like they are staying on top of it so far. 6” since they last came from the looks of the street. So about 8” so far, my bottom steps are gone on the front porch
