Reports from coastal north shore of MA--power outages and flooding. Deep snow, over one foot. Rockport flooded, Seabrook NH flooded. Rte 1A closed. Not since the blizzard of '78.

Here in Farmington, still snowing sideways, whipping around, blasts of snow.

This ranks up there as my most memorable one (and its not even over, lol) Comparing it to Dec 26, 2010. The winds just put a whole surreal "spin" on it.

I was thinking the very same thing......It hardly ever gets mentioned. It was awful......many times worse than today.

Yup.. Nemo. 17" here. That is another memorable one although today beats that IMO.. Not so much about amount of snow but more about the overall affect.. I don't remember winds being this strong with that one.. Maybe not as long? The pressure was not as strong with that one. Just a classic which produced a ton of snow/precip.

I don't remember that one. Oh wait....I WAS IN HAWAII!!!! Not there now...

I built a great bird shelter. And I sledded.

Okay how long is this going to last. I have a flight to catch. S'posed to go help DIL with one kid while she has another. In Washington state...where they're expecting an ice storm.
