Lot of talk of this being a monster storm, only difference between this one and 1978 is that this one is chugging along and will move away, and won't just dump a bunch on us. Seems to be a decent consensus with the local stations that the numbers will need to be adjusted upwards.

Everyone ready? We are approaching our daytime highs. The deep freeze is going to start after this, as the storm is moving through.

Get out there and clear as soon as it passes. I'm prepped to get out there tonight and clear. I can only imagine how gross the roads are going to be for the next week with the deep freeze coming and the roads having a stamped layer of crunchy snow to navigate.

Heavy stuff across the state. Seems like road conditions are getting worse according to all the on-road reporters I've been seeing. Looks like some heavier than the rest of the state (yellow in the bottom map) is moving into the greater New Haven area.

Yeesh, what a change in conditions! Do I have neighbours? Who knows, I can't see them.

Its gonna warm up after the frigid weekend. Mid-30's never looked so good.

This storm is nuts! Guess tomorrow is clean up day.

I cant keep up out there. We gonna see snow drifts over 2 feet in spots.

964mb ~200 miles off Delaware now.

If that is all new snow Cam that's pretty impressive. You guys might outperform us in the Boston area at this rate!

It's all new snow and probably another inch since that. Over 5 inches of new snow out there now.

And it's a beauty!!!

Just keeps pushing up, still heavy bands across the state. Whiteout conditions here. Can't see any neighbours at all.
