Watching this live view of the roads from WTNH. Roads already look terrible! To think the heaviest is around noon. This is gunna be a nice little storm we got ourselves.

I don't wanna talk about it. I only have one yard stick set up, and don't want to walk out for measurements that much. Looks like I'll only have final storm totals.

EDIT: Took my measurements. 2.5 inches in the backyard.

My snowboard is pointless today. Have to remember I had 1.5" on the ground before this one.

7:20am Map.

Raining on Martha's Vineyard, mixing in Manhattan? Probably an error. 4-6" fell in SouthEast Virginia

Those purple bands are whipping into us and NJ

Backyard view. Birds don't seem to care. I just filled their suet and feeder so they will be happy all day long. It's snowing decently and the wind is gusting a little bit. Temp shows around 20.

When I went out to change the suet felt like it did when it was in the single digits. Wind chill is annoying, and probably why I won't be taking many measurements. I'll try and get a few.

Not as good as Cam's but loop from 0550 to 0700. You can see the stronger stuff moving into lower FFC and lower New Haven County.

Front yard view. Winds are gusting pretty strong already, surprised me a bit. It will get a lot worse though. Already a bunch of snow fell from this morning when I woke up a couple hours ago.

4:30-8:30am Loop with metars.

Rain continues on the MA islands.

Blizzard like conditions here.

Eastern Long Island getting hammered now. You'll start to see the pivot later and the sharp backedge in Eastern PA.

Classic rotation of Atlantic moisture driving into Arctic air.

BTW -- Snow not as fluffy as previous ones this year. Seems normal. Not cement like.

Here we are just a little bit ago. Southern CT has the heavy snow, and you can see a band that has set up along the MA/NH border that travels down into Eastern CT. Really heavy stuff in SE Mass and Eastern LI right now.
