waking up at 6 am or 5:30 is rather normal [I do so sometimes]; didn't think many woke up at 4 am.

You can definitely feel the pattern difference. Not just normal but having some very warm days past 3 weeks.

Although 14th-19th was about normal/below. But not like the 1st week.

I still say we are done with that kind of departure we had earlier
The two 60s were from the same night. It hovered around 60°F from 10 pm to 7 am or so here. By the usual rules it was 2 maxima, but it wasn't really two separate two days.

Is this storm that's brewing off the eastern seaboard the ones that's just grazing Connecticut but gunna dump a bunch on Cape Cod? We are headed straight through it and its nasty! Howling winds and very rough seas. This would be a doozy of a snow storm for us.

It's from last year. Above the map reads January 25th, 2017. I about had a heart attack until I noticed that date.

Whoa. Interesting! Yes it is.

Center of it is right there off the coast. Not a lot of moisture around. The precip is entering Delaware now.

Expecting less than 1/3" in CT.
