Most local meteorologists are saying many schools will close due to the timing of the system (starts 7AM for the western side, ends around dinner for the east). Also, the fluffy snow (2-4 inches) create the "slick factor". I think the 10:30 PM model updates will determine if schools will close tomorrow.

I didn't join the school weather related conversation last time however I will say when there's children and buses involved I think safety is priority whether its 1 or 6 inches. And I believe everything shuts down in the south with 2 inches of snow not just schools.

People will still be out and about tomorrow, its just that schools are considering closing to keep kids and folks driving them safe. Colleges and high schools should remain open. I think elementary should close but only if I see the radar bulk up and timing .

My college (Western) sent out an e-mail at like 6 PM that the school was closing tomorrow which seemed a bit odd.

I don't know, but it seems to me, that over the last several years there seems to be more and more drama for less and less snow. In my area it has snowed every winter for hundreds of years, yet each new snow seems more dramatic than the one before.
