I see how the western edge of the precip in NJ keeps backfilling.....the power or the Atlantic.

Also noticex the rain line up to Queens and halfway into Long Island, then sleet.in the rest of NYC and up to 287 east to just short of the CT Sound Shore.....(its sleeting where i am)

Very light snow in Manchester/Bolton. Roads are in good shape. Have had less then 2 inches so it's not like the plows can't keep up with it. Even the schools didn't cancel today!

Trumbull, snowing moderately. Just shoveled the walkway (waiting to do the driveway until it's all done). Light and powdery.

Another good burst of snow entering western Jersey now..will be the last but might put down a quick 2 more inches for a good part of the state.

I would assume that LI is having a barrier island effect at this point. What are the temps in the Sound relative to the Atlantic side of LI?

Coming down quite a bit now, plow just made another pass. I'm waiting till it's over to go outside, but it's really fluffy snow and freezing outside!

Trying to gather my composure after seeing this. That's an oncoming lane and the guy wasn't going slow either. He was weaving in and out for a mile and almost hit someone up ahead because it was too slippery to stop short.

Lord help me with the things I see on the roads..... and notice the plate.

Dangerous conditions out there. 95 is a disaster. Packed ice and snow. 19 degrees with heavy snow in sleet near Orange.
