Albany needs to update their snow total forecast map. It's only up to 7pm tonight right now. Winter Storm Graphics

Warnings now posted for southern 4 counties. With winds gusting to 30mph there will be a couple hours where blizzard "type" conditions occur with falling and blowing snow.

I'm telling everyone to try to get off the roads before sundown. Always tougher at night or course. Start time should be around lunchtime.

Yup, we went from little to wow in 24hrs.

I'll always Agree to a certain extent but its the details. We're not supposed to expect details like that 1-2 weeks in advance. (not yet at least). Models DID have the storm, just not right location, amount of liquid, and strength. Those are huge in details. Huge.

Posted January 13th (8 days before tomorrows storm). Timing included in details of course.

Not bad by GFS and EURO!

NWS Boston raised the totals as well and issued the 2nd Blizzard Watch of the Season for Cape Cod area. Wow!

Storm Team 8 forecast. I like but not that angle. Too angled IMO but the amounts cover my thoughts.

Get off the roads by 7pm maybe even 5pm(sunset).. Wont know until looking at radar tomorrow. Just bad bad timing on this one.

I think heaviest snowfall will be 7pm to midnight where there might be 2 inches on the ground then all of a sudden in a couple hours there's 4-6"+
