8pm now 8 inches here. Been 1-2" per hr rates since 3pm. (5hrs worth) Finally letting up now as the heavier band pushes off the SWCT area.

How long is the heavy stuff going to last? I know it forecast to snow most of the night, but are these heavy rates going to let up before midnight?

Edit: Just eyeball judging it, Trumbull looks to be around 5-6". Did not have my handy dandy ruler to verify though.

New Haven is the only CT district i can find that has already declared a closure for tomorrow. Many NJ and Long Island districts have though.

In something i think i have never seen before, many Westchester districts are declaring delays right now and saying on their websites they'll decide in the morning whether to outright close.

Depends for where. SWCT looks to be letting up and ending soon meanwhile the Banana Belt looks to continue with the heavy snowfall. Mohegan getting good snows too

From looks of it CT all clear by 1am.
