Nice comments from our Greenville friends (I know, it does not happen often). The new sports reporter from the Greenville News tweeted that Carolina Stadium was an incredible stadium. He went on to say it is no wonder Columbia does not miss the Bombers with this stadium. If he keeps writing like that, he won't be in Greenville long.

I'm just glad we don't have to play the nemesis again.

So am I...the law of averages says that clemson has to beat USC in the postseason at some point. Didn't even want the prospect of them ending our season...and fortunately, it turned out that they didn't!

Nice posting, Columbiadata.

Unfortunately, bad things can happen anywhere and everyone must be cautious and aware. Thank God, my daughter never had a problem in four years. Glad to know she wasn't the exception.

It isn't believable USC is 3rd safest in the country. I don't think it is that dangerous but you got to thank the rural land grant universities are more safe.

I was approached by street bums numerous times in just 1 semester I went there. That isn't happening at Clemson or Francis Marion, etc

It happens at any college.

Street bums aren't dangerous as a rule. Isolation is more dangerous than urban settings. I've read quite a few stories about kidnappings, stabbings, sexual assaults, etc. coming out of Clemson. No campus is completely safe.

never said that but you can't argue urban areas tend to have more crime. Most of the stuff at a place like clemson are by people who know the victims.
