FYI, everything that has been complained about in regards to BBQ restaurants does not exist as problems at Bill's in Wilson. Real plates. Real silverware. Real cups. Accepts credit cards on a modern cash register.

I find the Pitt County establishments' BBQ (B's excepted) pretty bland and/or disgusting. My father likes Parkers so I tolerate it, but the rest of the family prefers Bill Ellis BBQ.

edit: maybe we need a BBQ thread. It would be appropriate for ENC.

Already exists.

And I still stand on my statement on page 3:

"You could open a BBQ spot in the basement of a crack house and the line of people wanting in will meander around the pipes and needles."

Very surprised to see this article about the new Cancer Center on FB today. I knew that it was coming soon but I didn't know that the groundbreaking was this close. I hope that they will set up a webcam for us to watch.

This is another huge development and it will impact many lives right here in Eastern NC. I really wish I could find more renderings of the building. Construction begins in April 2015 and will be completed by March 2018.

Groundbreaking for new $170-million cancer center in Greenville

I went there a few times. It was never busy. It's probably closed. Maybe they should try this model on 5th St downtown. I'll take that over the pool hall/barbershop next to Crossbones Tavern (former Peasants).

ECU's Board of Trustees will be hosting a press conference tomorrow morning at 11 am to discuss ECU's "Regional Transformation" where they will discuss in more detail future projects (Millennial Campus being one of them), and likely unveil some stuff. So expect the papers and TV stations to run some stuff about that tomorrow.
