Angus Grill is opening a third restaraunt at Portertown and 10th in the Food Lion shopping center before the Walmart. They're taking over the same suite the pizza place is currently, which I can't even remember the name off even though I work in the same strip.

The new Marabella's on Firetower is looking pretty good with it's sigange and paint. It's looks like they're pretty close to being open, at least from the outside.

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) East Carolina University is moving forward with a plan to revitalize Greenville’s warehouse district after a decision by the UNC System Board of Governors.

The governors recently approved a lease on the project which involves three warehouses. ECU is working with developer Elliot Sidewalk Communities. The developer will find business partners to occupy those buildings. It’s an effort to promote and encourage economic development.

“That includes activities that the university and our students are very interested and involved in so, for example, we would encourage things like advanced manufacturing in those areas but opportunities for students to be involved and to learn,” said Dr. Sara Thorndike, MBA, CPA, EDD, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance.

Currently, ECU is working on contracts with the developer. The company will begin construction once those agreements are done.

Don't know if it means something is going in there soon but I saw a construction crew working on the old spot that Michael's Arts and Craft used to be before moving.

Great news, the Industrial Parks in North Greenville continue to thrive. It is definitely the hub of jobs for Eastern NC.

WITN added a picture to the article that wasn’t there earlier. Looks like they are moving into the vacant plant that Nike occupied in the 90s, on Staton Road across from UPS.
