Scarlet, don't call the rest of the world careless. Only some of it is.

If you're going to keep arguing with facts that many of us have posted the least you could do is show something that would prove that baseball is so popular worldwide while the whole other 6 billion people outside of here don't care at all about it - which is complete BS btw.

Soccer, basketball and rugby are bigger than both baseball and football globally as far as I know. But show us some proof that baseball is more popular globally, and not just edging out football but completely dominating it in popularity the way you're trying to claim it here. Also show us proof that the world could care less about football. You're pulling these things out of your ass. Until you can come up with ANY of this kind of proof you should really stop speaking on the subject. You're just embarrassing yourself here and making NY look bad in the process, which is counter-productive to your agenda.

lol, bunch of morons

"The report says an average live global audience of 97 million people watched the Indianapolis Colts defeat the Chicago Bears. Following the NFL Super Bowl in second place was Formula One’s Brazilian Grand Prix, followed by the UEFA Champions League Final."

oh wait never mind actual facts don't matter in this discussion. jackassesgl
The only way to try and oppose truth with a stubborn standpoint is to avoid it entirely. These are the same tactics employed by third graders lol.

as 'expect' said, you guys are actually trying to fight stats w/ baseless opinions. Love it or hate it, the Superbowl was the victor in '07.
You are so funny in your ignorance... No, Europeans in general don't care for American football. There is no European league of American football, there is British rugby but no football. It's not geography, football is just not an European sport. there is no interest. Soccer on the other hand has an actual league in the US because there is a lot of interest in this sport here. I believe that the Superbowl was the most watched sports event: after all quite a lot of people live in the US and Canada...
What is there to hate?

Ive never heard of new jersey relating to film. Just lke most of america

When you cross the gwb. It feels like your in NEW YORK. Whether your going to brooklyn, manhattan or the bronx. Jersey has a different feeling period. There is no other city like nyc in america, jersey included
There are 45 member countries in the IFAF, you also have the CFL, the BAFL has 46 teams. There are many more leagues throughout the world that play American Football.
From Mexico to Germany to Japan and points in between they play and watch American Football.
Regular season NFL games are shown throughout the world.
You having no clue about where else in the world it is played means only one thing, you are uninformed.

You never heard of NJ relating to film for the aforementioned reason, you are uninformed.

You should try and be sure of your facts before calling someone ignorant.

The British American Football League has 46 teams. There are leagues in Germany, Japan, Mexico, Norway etc.

You must be joking, you lost a lot of ground with that statement.

I'm going to go ahead and let you do a little research and then get back to me...b/c my man, if you don't think there's any European leagues then you are so out of touch with the rest of the world that's it's nothing short of depressing.

(I mean that with the utmost sincerity)

Lol new ID huh?

Its common sense. When facts are presented to you the only way to counter them is with contradictory evidence. As in, your opinion counts for nothing. Why would people abroad care about the mlb when none of their countries are represented there either?? LMAO (And don't try and say the Blue Jays count b/c they're as American as any other mlb team.)

Oh but your ignorance is SOOO much funnier!

Apparently you weren't present during my post a few pages back so I'll help you out:

In the UK, 46 teams play in the British American Football League. The BAFL has three levels: The Premier, of which there are five teams; BAFL 1, of which there are 19 teams; and BAFL 2, of which there are 26 teams. While the lower level teams have their own championship games during BritBowl Weekend, only Premier league teams face each other in the BritBowl which is it held in Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium. Unlike the NFL, the BAFL season is played through the summer (April to September), with the British university season spanning the autumn and winter.
In Mexico, the ONEFA is a college league with 26 teams in 3 conferences.
In Japan, the X-League is a professional league with 60 teams in four divisions, using promotion and relegation. After the post-season playoffs, the X-League champion is determined in the Japan X Bowl. There are also over 200 universities fielding teams, with the national collegiate championship determined by the Koshien Bowl. The professional and collegiate champions then face each other in the Rice Bowl to determine the national champion.
In Germany, the German Football League whose elite division is called Bundesliga, has 12 teams partitioned into north and south conferences. The finalists from the playoffs determine the German champion during the German Bowl.
In Hungary, 18 registered teams participate in a the MAFL's two division league structure. The sport has grown significantly since 2004 and with some top Division I teams participating in the CEFL.
In Norway, div I consists of only two teams, Oslo Vikings and Eidsvoll 1814's. These two teams also compete in the European Football League but they play an annual game for the Norwegian Championship title. Norway has seven other teams that play in div II and this division is looked upon as the Norwegian Football League.
The International Federation of American Football is the governing body for American football with 45 member associations from North and South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The IFAF also oversees the American Football World Cup, which is held every four years. Japan won the first two World Cups, held in 1999 and 2003. Team USA, which had not participated in the previous World Cups, won the title in 2007."

American football - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And this didn't even touch on the Canadian Football League or the total of 4 different leagues in the UK they have for American Football. Yeah, its not popular AT ALL outside of here.

And baseball blows compared to football anyway. Outside of the US, Japan and the Caribbean baseball is not extremely popular (although it does exist in many countries as well).
Foot meet mouth. LOL too funny.
