I've left bars in NYC at 8am before (and God did I pay for that when I got up lol).

I've partied in Vegas, and NYC wins hands down! Everything from the local bar to the club scene.

YAY!!!

With a statement like that, I guess someone can turn around and ask you if you had any problems getting into any of the Vegas clubs (or VIP rooms).

What makes you think that if someone doesn't vote NY first on everything that they've never been there??? I've spent some great times out in NYC, and I also spent some great times at some great bars in Montreal that also stayed open late (I actually preferred Montreal over the two). That still doesn't make it the best place for nightlife (IMO), so why don't you let others have their opinions as well. NY is near the top, but IMO, it isn't the top city for nightlife in the world, let alone the U.S.

Nothing when you're in your 20's, but in your 30's? It's time to grow up and start acting like an adult. And drugs, are kinda childish if you ask me...

Yeah but Vegas nightlife is also far and beyond drinking in a casino bar and not all the clubs are on the strip either..realistically your in Vegas for one of a couple things Business,Family,Travel,Wedding,Gambling or to get as drunk as possible over the longest period of time you can while your there. And just like Nyc 30+ yr olds have there own things to do but the nightlife of the city as a whole is obviously geared toward the younger crowd and when you have money to spend who's to say your "to old to have fun".

VIP rooms?... lol lol lol Did those "rooms" make you feel like a VERY IMPORTANT PERSON?... VIP Rooms lol lol lol

The whole 'club scene' in general, unless you want to go dancing, why would you want to be in a place that you have to scream to have a conversation? To me, once you start hitting your 30's, especially mid to late 30's , you're kinda old to be in those places. Of course there are ones that cater to a more mature crowd, but your average club? Maybe you're one of those type of guys though, that'll be 40 and cracking on girls in their early 20's?....

Where did I say that someone is too "old" to have fun? Pointing out the fact, that most people don't want to be still sitting on a barstool at 6am, is just being realistic. Everybody who's a drinker, of course has done it, more times than we can remember (literally lol ). And of course we can compare a tourist to either city, as opposed to someone actually living in either city. The nighlife of NYC spans WAY further than Vegas's does, that's just a fact. I know that not EVERYTHING is located on the Strip. But most things ain't very far.

Vegas too me, wasn't nearly as fun in my 30's, as it was in my 20's. Of course that could be said about alot of things and places as you get older. The last time I was in Vegas, I was taken back by the feeling I had in drinking in those casinos. I really thought it was kinda of lame to be honest. And all those bells going off from the slot machines starting getting on my nerves also. But, without a doubt, there are 'good times' to be had in Vegas. I'm not trying to take that fact away.

But I just think that Vegas has too much of a 'touristy type' of scene. And NYC has more variety to fit EVERYONE'S needs. Plus, most of the people you meet in NYC, will be back at that bar the next time you go to it. As opposed to Vegas, when alot of those people you might meet, fly back home the next day or two after you meet them.

Haha no I didn't mean that you said it just in general
But I can't say I don't agree with you I hate casinos and it is pretty touristy but they also have some world class lounges and clubs and roof top pool parties,etc.etc..
I can see where you are coming from though and everyone has to grow up sometime..kinda .
