I heard on the radio today that University of Alabama Birmingham hospital has added more surgeons to their staff to deal with the rise in gun shot victims. Radio said that gun shot victims have doubled from years past. I thought that was very interesting.
Birmingham at 144, 10 of those are justifiable homicides.
Exactly. Can't even get too happy about the break in homicides because you know it's usually short lived. September was a pleasant surprise with only having 13 total for the month.
13 people murdered isn't pleasant. 0 is the unattainable goal.
