As you likely know, places/areas like northern and eastern Mount Vernon, western and northern New Rochelle, the town of Greenburgh(including the village of Elmsford and vicinity, the Parkway Homes/Parkway Gardens area, etc.); northern Peekskill, northern Pelham, parts of White Plains north and east of Downtown and the Runyan Heights neighborhood of Yonkers are some with quite substantial to predominantly black middle class areas in the county.
For Suffolk County, Wheatley Heights, the Belmont Park/northern West Babylon area, SE Deer Park, southern Greenlawn/western Elwood, Gordon Heights, SW Central Islip, parts of North Bellport, parts of North Amityville, parts of Sag Harbor and some other parts of the Hamptons are some examples in that county.
Just to throw out some other counties using 2021 1 year information...
Yea the Black population of Norfolk County Ma is basically exclusively Middle and Upper Middle-Class Black people. It doesn't have a Brockton like Plymouth County or a Roxbury, Mattapan, and Chelsea like Suffolks County
And also only ~50-52% of the black population in the county is in those towns. Quite a few towns have more blacks than Holbrook and Avon but their larger towns so it's a smaller percentage. The 2nd largest population of Black in Norfolks County is in
Quincy with 5,700+ Blacks (, non-mixed race)
Stoughton has 5,250 Milton has 3,720
Weymouth has 2,790
Norwood has 2,420
Canton has 2,220
Brookline has 2,070 Holbrook has 1,720
Dedham has 1,580
Braintree has 1,330 Avon only has 910
Randolph has 15,120
Its really just Eastern Norfolk County in General. Brockton sits on the southern border of that part of Norfolk County in Plymouth County.

Yeah, the reason I just mentioned those places is due to having the highest percentages, as all of them are well above the national black percentage.
Like you mentioned though, the other towns/cities have visible black populations as well. So, some may go with those communities within the county too.

Thanks. I was just in Queens and Long Island this past week. Some very nice, diverse and safe neighborhoods. Easy commutes into the city as well (LIRR). As mentioned before NYC's suburbs (and more suburban parts of the city like NE Bronx, SE Queens, and Southern Brooklyn) are underrated for the black middle / upper middle class.

That is also considering that there are many places in NJ that are close to NYC and would appeal to such families. It is a side of the NYC area that doesn't get talk about too much for some reason.

I wish I could find the post with information for this census tract on Syracuse’s East Side, but due to a response in another thread in terms of educational attainment, another thing I found to be interesting about it is that black men have a higher number and percentage of having a Bachelors degree or above than black women according to 2020 5 year census information: https://data.census.gov/cedsci/table...0US36067003602
So, this is a predominantly black, middle class census tract with a relatively high black educational attainment and with black males having a higher number/percentage. This doesn’t get into having these things in the tract or other parts of the neighborhood: http://www.syrgov.net/parks/homerwheatonPark.html
According to this "small towns" list, Uniondale NY on Long Island makes it, but there are other options nearby that are viewed as being better options: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeXEcFJrc6s
Map: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Un...!4d-73.5931669 (places like Baldwin, parts of Roosevelt, parts of Hempstead, northern Freeport, Lakeview, northern Westbury, West Hempstead, Elmont and the Valley Streams have/is where there are substantial to predominantly black middle class populations)

I knew New Rochelle was a fairly nice and relatively diverse suburban city, but I didn’t realize it was such a hotbed for Black affluence! That’s up there with the most upscale parts of Prince George’s County, I would think.
