Who cares about the name, is it owned by Greeks!

That is the important question!

Probably as most of the southern style restuarants are as well as any Italian place that has been here more than 10 years.

To me, the only draws of the NY diners were the huge, varied menus and the fact that they were open 24 hours or close to it. But diners were always the last resort when our group of friends couldn't figure out what specific type of food we were in the mood for. The food quality, for the most part, was usually only average, even at our favorite diners (Kings Plaza diner in Brooklyn topped our list). It'll be interesting to have that as an option down here, but I still think it'll be low on my list If you know what specific type of food you want, you can usually ifind a much better representation of that food outside of the diner setting.

Um, we had several of these in Charlotte at one time, the last of which was torn down recently to make way for a new CPCC parking lot!

Skyland is ok on South Blvd. There are a lot of other diners, but most are not 24x7.
