It was a bluebird day and almost hit 70. Spring in the PNW is awesome.

We had another amazing spring weekend in Vancouver where we've been close to 70 as well. Here's a few pics from the water today which is warming up as well.

As is typical, the forecast for last night and today has been totally wrong. That's the TV news, two iPhone apps, and even Alexa who gave an alert last night. It was supposed to start raining about 11 last night, and continue until 11:00 tonight. When I left at 5am this morning it was dry, and other than a brief mist on the way to work no rain, still. I'm in Seattle now and it shows rain, but I'm looking out the window and it's completely dry, just overcast.

I did enjoy the weekend, it was the first time I was able to take out my '74 Nova for a cruise 3 days in a row without getting it wet. I even got to mow the lawn for the first time this season, and the rider started right up.

We had a hard freeze last night, and mostly clear skies after some rainy days. A good reminder not to put too much of a garden in this early. Summer starts for real on July 5th.

We continue to have fantastic spring weather in Vancouver. There was some needed rain yesterday. Today was a nice mix of clouds and sun. It's supposed to hit 75 this week before another rain band moves in.

We're getting lots of spring rain with some sunny days in between. April showers are definitely bringing May flowers. I headed up the Columbia River Gorge around an hour east and went from clouds to sun. The wildflowers are peaking in the Gorge right now. It's a beautiful time to visit the area. Here's a few pics.

Looks like Vancouver, WA has California weather. We're gray and overcast all weekend and it's raining.
