I’m out of town.
The wife said it was near perfect weather today.
We like it cooler than most so we are not that hard to please.
Just a nice sunny day with no wind and low 60’s is nicely appreciated here.

Nice winter sunrise this morning followed by more sun and blue skies. Temps in the 40s so far with calm winds.

Hey y’all! I haven’t been posting here much, but I have been following along through the rather mild weather we’ve been having. Was nice all morning today and we were outside in the yard. Hubby got started pruning apple trees. It has clouded over now, Just took the second picture a couple moments ago. I hear we have some pineapple Xpress coming in tonight!

Andy, heads up the Olympic mountains are forecast to see 6-8" of rain in this coming "atmospheric river".
It might be a good time to not be here, hopefully your place isn't prone to flooding or slides.

Thanks rkcarguy,
I’m not in a flood area but I do worry about my bluff at times.

During November 2021's record breaking pineapple express/flooding, I was awoke around 1am by what I thought was the rumbling sound of a military aircraft for a good 20 seconds. Then it stopped. I got on facebook, and several people were posting that they'd heard and felt what they thought was a slide, got in their cars and ran(drove) for their lives. Saturday morning revealed that a bluff had collapsed and sent a huge debris field down porter creek which is about 10 miles from where I live. I was shocked it was that loud that far away. Thankfully it stopped short of any homes, but took out a small bridge, some power poles and lines, and lots of trees.

So far this pineapple express has been pretty mild, at least in our area.

Wet, but not in a newsworthy way.

Andy, is your home on the bluff? I seem to recall you had a nice view overlooking the water.

Yep, local weather is saying the Olympics are taking the soaking, and we are in the "rain shadow" for once

It sounds like you've got the opposite of last year with all that flooding. Glad to hear you caught a break. We've had nothing severe yet in SWWA. It was cloudy without any real sun breaks, just your typical PNW winter day. Not a lot of wind and temps in the low 50s. So, not too bad overall.
