More snow for a few hours yesterday afternoon and evening, but this morning, 31F and foggy in Sammamish, had to be careful going down the hills. It warmed to 33 in Issaquah, 37 by Mercer Island and 38 in Seattle. Now at close to 8am the sun appears to be breaking through the clouds. We have had more days with snow than I can remember in our 30 years here, but it only stuck twice, and not more than a few inches. Generally a milder, warmer than normal winter here.

No, any place that gets in the 30s in March should be almost inhabitable. I say home prices in Western Wa should be 200k max for the weather alone.

Too bad thing you are living in a fantasy world. If more people thought like that, prices would actually be much lower. But that's obviously not the case either in the PNW or the rest of the world that have four seasons, is it? I think you would also find Malibu and Florida uninhabitable due to gross overpopulation, pollution, traffic congestion, inflation, over taxation and human destruction of their originally beautiful natural environments. They are already headed in the that direction, unfortunately.

Nice dusting of snow that stuck around this morning on the grass, but not on the roads. Now it's bright and sunny with some fast moving clouds. Hopefully it stays this way so I can go for a walk later and get a good look at the mountains- they've been super bare up until the last few days.

Eh, it's a long winter, but I'm good, I'm just grumpy by the 5th month of winter. The long summers make up for it. I'm a fan of green, lots of water & cooler temps, can't have that with no rain, right?

We had a sun break briefly yesterday which was glorious. We haven't had one of those in a while. Clouds rolled back in soon, but in that couple of hours things dried out a bit. The clouds are back socked in.

Today was sunny most of the day in Vancouver reaching 50. I flew back in and it was nice to not get hit with rain and clouds. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 60. I may have to get off work a little early to enjoy these spring temps before the next rain band hits this weekend.
