This one has been asked and answered already. It was in Kemmerer, WY and it was first called the Golden Rule.

Try another question.

Well, this is my last post for a few days. I'll be back Sun. You all have fun without me.

How about this one.

John Kendrick was a Wyoming Senator. What was unique about his election in Wyoming History?

He was the first U.S. Senator from Wyoming to be elected by popular vote (1916). Prior to that the state legislature appointed a representative.

I was going to say that he was still living in MT most of the time since he'd not yet finished building his home in .....ummm.....Sheridan, I think it was, so 'technically' he wasn't a WY citizen.

He was living on the K ranch East of Sheridan while his house was being built. So that wouldn't have been it.

Thank you, Elk Hunter.

Wyoming was the site of the first American business established west of the Missouri River. Where was it, when was it established, and who established it?

The website for Trail End State Historic Site in Sheridan is where I got that info. I just rechecked that it says he lived mainly on his MT ranches until the house was built.
