ok you are correct

The last 2 I had figured. I have never heard of Osage Wyoming, or the tribe. Thank you!
Anyone know any others? Or should we save that as another question?

Hey sorry folks about the delay. Hubby decided to do a little remodeling of the old house and well, once a man decides to do something you gotta stay on top of them to make sure they finish. LOL!!!

Okay for my question.

What famous part time resident of Jackson Hole lends out the use of his helicopter to Jackson area search and rescue, sometimes piloting it himself?

You are correct. Now he could be considered a true wyomingite when you compare him to some of his counterparts that live in this state.

Your turn!

wow, that was a lucky guess...he was the only celeb I knew living in the Jackson Hole area though >.<

This Wyoming native worked as a ranch hand, surveyor, fishing guide among other things but is most famously known as an author of the eleven book "Joe Pickett" series.

What is the name of this author and what is the Job title of the main character Joe Pickett in the series? (gotta make it a little tricky)

Not to get off subject, But Richard Petty got a house here and snowmobiles a lot. He helps out on different benefits too. Only person I seen that drives to the grocery store gets out of his car then puts his sunglasses on to go into the store, they come off when he gets back into his car…

Box is a Wyoming native and has worked as a ranch hand, surveyor, fishing guide, a small town newspaper reporter and editor, and he co-owns an international tourism marketing firm with his wife, Laurie. An avid outdoorsman, Box has hunted, fished, hiked, ridden, and skied throughout Wyoming and the Mountain West. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo.

yep! Your turn

Actually I enjoyed reading them. Don't think I got through all of the series but they were suspense filled and action packed. I liked that the daughter in the book's name is Sheridan

I'm looking forward to reading some of his books, always happy to learn of another Wyoming author.

OK, next question.

In 1922 this Wyoming site was involved in what was regarded as the benchmark in political corruption in the United States until Watergate. This scandal involved the Secretary of the Interior and several leading business men in the United States. Resolution of the wrong doing that was uncovered went all the way to the Supreme Court.

What was the scandal called and what was it about?
