A new poster here on CD has six posts. Five of them are long walls of text. In those five, I counted two periods and two commas. Of course, if you do not use punctuation, capital letters are superfluous, too. the text could contain some interesting information. Maybe.

I've noticed lately that some of the members here use periods and capitalized words to emphasize phrases in their posts. For example:

and people do it All. The. Time. in my open office.

It seems to be a new trend, and I find it extremely annoying.

That one doe not bother me. That just mimics the way someone might draw the words out when speaking.

Seems like the guy could really careless, as he didn't even tell his parents.

It actually took me a while to figure out what that poster meant.
