I could be missing something and this is just a new word? Something that makes your eyes soar upwards. I'm going to check and see if there is any such word because it is in reference to wind farms and they do block part of the sky. It must be a new word, right?
That took a minute to decipher!

Since a snub nose is one turned up at the end, 'turning one's nose up' (snubbing) makes sense in a fashion.

What a tremendously helpful thread.

It's helped me to narrow down my list of suspects for the poster who sent me the rep that began with, "FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY..." and addressed my inability to put an apostrophe in the right place.

Silly rabbit. That's why God invented editors.

Dew, your first visit here? Welcome!

No one here would do that to you.

You would just find a post here about your post with the misplaced apostrophe!

Someone actually recently sent me a DM to fix one of my mistakes before it was noticed and showed up here.

Hi, Dew! Nope, we don't send mean DMs, we come here and vent to one another.

I'd estimate at least half of the posts here concern errors found outside of the City-Data forums.

If I'm in need of a smile, I can usually find one on my face after visiting this thread.

When I was considering a new tattoo using some type of words or a saying, finding this one quickly made me decide on a astronomical design instead:

From an art forum far away from C-D:

"I will takeall of your concerns into account..btw when a human is standing and working on some thing at waste level his or her neck is covered by the lower face..thus from a frontal view wharing a welding jacket with a protective collar the neck is hidden from view...if you had omitted this rediculous comment your credibility would not be such an issue."

Does she mean quirky?

"....when I was 3 yrs old, and have had a corky fascination with them ever since."
