Disgustingly cloudy start to July, which looks set to continue.

Again, that is far better than Toronto winter.
Anytime you get more than 1 hr of sun in a winter day it's a decent day here.

That's about the same or slightly less than a London January, when we get 2 hrs of sun per day.

and about 2 hours/per day below average for here. So, that's half of an already disgusting average figure, hence it is frekaing crock of ****. Even Hobart is on 54 hours MTD

Our average may be 55-75 hrs for December,
but some years it feels like 15 hrs and other years 100+ hrs.

I know your average isn't good and it's half of even that,
but we are as cloudy as Melbourne's cloudiest month for 6 months of the year.

Summer has ENDED today here, with highs of 50-60F in the forecast, persistant cloud and rain and drizzle for the rest of the summer.

England has the most pathetic, appalling and horrendous climate of anywhere in the world, apart from a few subarctic islands.

That's impossible for me to even imagine, partly because the "rest of the summer" here means mid-October and highs in the 90s. Wanna trade?!

Depends where in England you are. London will enjoy it's coolest day of the month today with a forecast high of 75.
