Well predictably, the weekend forecast went from sunny to CLOUDY

WHAT A SURPRISE

And it's freezing cold with bloody rain all the time aswell, freaking miserable and to think some lunatics out there actually ENJOY this. Yeah, fun if ya indoors with a fireplace and hot chocolate, not when ya outside all day

Absolutely horrible, horrible afternoon today with suffocating and stingy smoke being directed over us by evil & ugly westerly winds

Sydney cloaked by smoke from burn-off

When will those drongos realise it's never a good idea to do burn offs when a nasty westerly is blowing

So lucky. I'm so envious as we're putting up with very ridiculous heat (and vomit-inducing fohn westerly winds) here. Make the most of it

Enjoy the warmth while it lasts kquatsi, Southerly Change is due tomorrow.
FWIW I thought today was magnificent, albeit I am a couple of hundred kilometres north of you.

It's OK for you, you're in NC. Us poor Sydneysiders have to put up with the evil smoke flowing over us from the BM via the dreaded westerly of course, that cold S change can't come soon enough

I'm loving this weather.

However, on another note, I'm not too happy about cutting my finger while peeling potatoes. Hurts like a btch.

About 20 plants were damaged by last night's frost despite covering about 40 plants! The paw paws and the exotic Magnolias do not look happy either. I probably won't know the extent of the damage until another week or so.
