Salt, black pepper, paprika and herbs.

And of course a lot of chicken, pasta, pizza, lasagne, rice and such, but those above are traditional Finnish ingredients.
Sounds plain.

that's an insanely cheap prize for being in sweden at least.
£1.25/13kr for a hotdog + soft drink here. A hot dog from Five Guys costs £4.25/45kr. In the Us, it's cheaper, as expected.

You can add what you want. By no means are those the (only) ingredients we use on daily basis. I use a lot of chili, pasta, rice, garlic, garlic, garlic, onion, onion, tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes, olives, different spices, herbs and such.

Originally quite plain, that's true, due to the climate, poverty and very little global trade. But Nordic cuisine has been tuned up a lot and the strength is clear-tasting and fresh ingredients, with a lot from the wild; mushrooms, berries, caviar and such, and that's what made it popular in fine dining circles, as it's exotic compared to the old French-Italian theme that's been dominant for the last 100 years. And taste some reindeer, moose or bear, and it's definitely not plain.

1.20€ for the hotdog+soda here. What if we'd all just say all prices in $ so you don't have to convert? 10.6 SEK is that.

Or € suits me fine as well.

I have another job interview today, and will most probably move to UP Michigan on succeeding. Wonder how bad winter is there and the best way to prepare for it.

Haha! It's amazing how narrow minded some people are.

American travelers often get that stereotype, good to see others can be just as bad.

Would Ariete agree with Lahti comment?
