What you need is less burgers and more Scandinavian food.

ScandiKitchen is all about food from all over Scandinavia. In our café, we serve open sandwiches and have a large grocery selection with over 600 goodies from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Scandinavian food is more popular in the UK than you think. I love the food selection at IKEA.

Well I wouldn't know a Swedish piece of food if it slapped me on the face.

Scandi food isn't mainstream yet, but it's gaining popularity. Probably not in Northern Ireland - the only foreign cuisine you can find there is a Big Mac or a chicken bucket.

Beef, pork, fish, reindeer, moose, potatoes, carrot, turnip, onion, garlic, cabbage, peas, dill, parsley, rye bread, cream, milk, cheese, eggs, (seasonal: crayfish, birds like pheasant, grouse and partridge, bear), lingonberry, blackberry, cloudberry, raspberry, strawberry.

Salt, black pepper, paprika and herbs.

And of course a lot of chicken, pasta, pizza, lasagne, rice and such, but those above are traditional Finnish ingredients.
