£150 a month?! How, is your family rich? London isn't that bad, really...

You only get income support if your not living with a parent/guardian

I guess P London isn't a sheltered little baby like you - he lives on the Aylesbury Estate for goodness sakes.

Yes and I'm proud of where I grew up it will always be home for me. I've never ever seen a gun, hear gun shots, seen any real violence all anything like that.

I'm currently staying at a relative's in the borough of Ealing (West London) though...

Yeah but where does the £150, a month come from, your parents? I get around £50 a month from my mum on average but you get 150? Wtf...

I'm not sure if the people posting there are representative of the general population (and plenty of people on that thread state they have little money to their name). I wish I had anywhere near that much money when I was 18, or 21, but I come from a poor, working-class family and my mother never had the means to support me beyond providing a roof over my head (until I left for university). She managed to give me some money when I started renting my own place after graduation, but it wasn't a lot.

I save money all the time now though since I have a stable income - I was earning way more than my mother before she became unemployed.

Well my parents aren't rich. They don't tell me their salary.

They live a kind of semi-rich lifestyle but we actually aren't rich. They just know how to budget money properly.

Basically they worked well and got a good job.

But thats bad though, i'm not gonna lie. I envisage a massive drop for me when I realise how expensive everything is. I realise now that I pay more that it will be hard to live my parents life.
