What?? Most people have to work during the whole summer anyway! If it is warm I will sit out in my garden, regardless if it is light or dark. I have lots of garden lights anyway, so I prefer sitting out there when it's dark

I don't understand why anyone would want it to get cold just because it is now September...

What does the second sentence have to do with the first?

I could also say, "I don't understand why people want cold weather".

Obviously your pocket money is your pocket money. But you didn't actually earn it.

I didn't have pocket money when I was at High school either. We used to do contract fruit/tobacco work during the holidays and after school. Made some serious dosh too, close to double the average adult wage at the time. Plenty of money for booze, fast cars and fast women.

This year we will be learning about plate techtonics which is good because I hate the tricellular model.

I, too, had a great first day of school, although it lasted all the way until 20:00
