Impressive. Hopefully you won't get flooding like Brisbane did earlier this year.
Not gonna happen. Sure we've had plenty of local and surface flooding around in recent months but nothing as bad as Brisbane which btw should have known better since '74 but that's another story.
Anyway we've had much heavy & torrential falls since my last post, over 260mm has fallen MTD making this the highest July total of any since 1950 AND BOM is forecasting another 50mm to fall overnight. Hmmm. Would be so great if we broke that 1950, or even the 300mm mark, record but it's a wait and see period right now Even going by this, now, is the 11th wettest July month on record.
88mm recorded to 9am today & 37mm since then. Had, continuous, heavy and at times torrential, rain until 2.30pm

Some great statistics there & I've been the happiest in a while. Rain certainly soothes my frazzled nerves . Occasional showers now with the odd heavy fall. Off for a walk soon to the beach to take snaps of the massive surf lashing the coast.
Happy that last evening had the feel of spring to it, despite the rubbish weather yesterday. Birds and insects active until dark and a noticeable difference in the quality of light.
Happy with the forecast of snow down to 200m/600ft., thats as low as gets , but there is always a chance of snow down here (7C/46F here at 3.15pm) if the temps drop.
It should mean some nice light snow in the mountains.
Happy that it snowed today! We had intermittant sleet all day long and then later in the day we got a decent amount of snow. It didn't accumulate though as it melted upon hitting the ground.
Miserably cold though with a high of only 5 C today, one of the coldest daytime highs here in modern times.
Just looked out my window to see everything completely covered with snow! Must be at least a couple inches. First time we've had sea level snow in six years.
Lovely weather outside, rainy and overcast. If I have to endure a hot summer, these are the conditions I'd like to see most often. Sun just makes things even hotter than they already are.
