Much welcomed after the dreary fall we've had Pretty much standard Nino climo, as all the action would be down south. unless you live in an area with a reverse west windflow

Near normal in the South? I can live with that.

A bunch of mild Pacific air, I'm guessing.

Looking at my local forecast, it appears that my area will have high temperatures around 60°F and low temperatures around 40°F for a period of time in the middle of the month. That's slightly above normal in both regards, but nothing offensive like 2015. After that, it'll be back into a cold pattern by Christmas, and through New Year's Day into early January.

Sounds good to me.

Buckle up. Storms dont happen everyday or even week so we'll see who gets the snows when they happen. Time keeps running out if they miss you.

Next week...another?

Quite a bit of rainfall coming for the South below the winter storm, especially Texas.

[mod note] Time to knock off the petty bickering. Please be respectful and considerate. [/mod note]

That looks like a Niño to me! Chilly and wet in the South.

We are getting temp swings that i like now. Now if we could just get heavy rain every week i would be 100% happy with this pattern. Maybe get lucky and get .70" for this weekend. Warm up starting today.
