his flight to the tropics by now...not a mild winter there either.

The winter was very mild until February 4 when everything changed. We haven't even reached the average high since then.
Did you know November is still our biggest snowfall here and many other areas? Time running out to beat 6 inches!

Same here, we had 4 inches November 15 in Lower Bucks County PA (between Philadelphia and Trenton) and our seasonal total is 7.5" of snow and sleet. Moreover, every single event including November 15 has included freezing rain or rain No pure snow events at all, and boatloads of rain This reminds me of meteorologist DT's referencing the coastal Mid Atlantic as "God's snow anus" in one of his winter weather talks
