Ha. I work at a TV station. Half-days, holidays, working from home and calling out sick don't exist. We just have to suck it up so we can tell the world it's snowing. Traffic was definitely lighter this morning, so perhaps all the "normal" people decided to take the day off.

20-25F colder this morning then yesterday afternoon. Felt 50 degrees colder using wind chill

I am going to Cancun in a week. At the time I booked this, I had no idea the weather would be that cold here. So I guess I picked the best time to go there.

We had our second or third coldest Feb a couple years ago. Weren't you the one saying with the changing climate you guys were never going to get cold again? Nature always try to balance out, even with the crazy warm west biased North American Dipole we have been dealing with for the last 9 years.

Yes but we had almost record warm January and mild December. So one winter month way below average is not super bad. If there was no snow, it would've been much more tolerable.

We're up to 3" of snow in Kansas City, with about seven more hours of snowfall to go, and everything is pretty much a disaster, as I expected. A viewer sent us this photo from I-70 east of the Kansas City metro.
