Some pretty nasty storms today for the south Atlantic region. Threat area seems to be from the SC lowcountry south down to the I-4 corridor in central Florida. Hilton Head Island is getting a direct hit from a storm right now as I speak. It's also very warm out (currently 80 F in my area) so there's lots of fuel for those storms.

Here’s to hoping this spring and summer doesn’t turn out to be an epic fail of a spring and summer.

Got screwed on the rain again. All the heavy stuff missed me to the south. Not even a crappy .50".

Summer starts on June 21 when the sun angle is the highest, but the warmest days are not until July or August.
