Same in Southeastern PA - omitting the 1st day of the month, the warmest we've been this Marchuary is 49!! We have a few low 50s forecasted before the end of the month, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Waking up to mid and upper 20s every morning is getting very old

Love this weather its melting the snow. About time! Its crazy walking around cuz the north side of blocks still has deep snow but the south sides have very little and its mostly grass. Heard a bunch of birds singing today, just lovely.

Rochester, NY; where I was originally from hasn't gotten above 6.1°C this month (43°F). It's looking like a repeat of March 2001, the last March I lived there, highest temp was 9.4°C(49°F) and there were over 101.6cm(40in) of snow that March.

I had to look.. Looks like you're in the 40s today?

Here I am in the low 40s and the Afternoon sun here not melting the deck snow still. I don't want to touch it. Wanna see how long it lasts.

Closeup

Closer. I think I'm right. The snow has turned into ice crystals which makes it harder to melt

Here is the deck March 10th. Only 3.5" wet snow fell after this.

Spoiler

Down here on LI, I don't think you can even call this stuff snow any more. More like rock solid ice. I can stand on the stuff in broad daylight without making the slightest dent in it.
